Full description
A rare and genuine Seaham Sea Glass multi, hand picked by me. This stunning piece looks like black on white but is actually dark purple. It measures 1.5 cm and came about by the melding of the purple piece onto the white piece and then smoothed by the sea for many decades. Unique to Seaham beach! Ideal for jewellery making. Photographed wet and dry so you can see the colour. I can see a silversmith turning this into something beautiful and desirable, a joy for any sea glass and beach lover. Please note that colours may vary on different monitors.
I collect sea glass and pebbles from Seaham beach which is close to my home. I love walking along the beach and love that I can recycle pebbles and glass that have been tumbled and smoothed for decades. The beach finds are carefully picked, washed and left to dry in the sun. Natural and re-purposed into something beautiful and some pieces sold for collectors and jewellery makers.
Carefully packaged in recycled materials wherever possible.
