I love painting, trying to capture the mood and feeling of what I have seen, often memorising feelings, emotions or the weather temperature to capture that memory in paint. You will often see me barefoot with the door open on a cool, wet day for me to feel the cold, remember the first touch of rain on my face, or by a window with the sun streaming through, the heat from the glass allowing the memories come back and help me with the paintbrush. So many colours on the beach, it can be such a colour therapy.

This window panel/suncatcher, Harmony, was romantically inspired by the tranquil colours and gentle movement of leaves dancing to the sway of the movement in the branches of trees.
Green is the colour of balance and harmony, which always makes me feel restful and calm and invites harmony into the home.
This harmonious colour palette blends soothing aloe, crisp apple, and fresh mint. The leaded design has a gentle feminine flow of the elegant, curvaceous leaves.
This Free-Standing Stained Glass effect Leaded Art Deco Suncatcher/ Window Decoration is 25cm round and fitted into a hand-crafted mahogany wooden base.
The light flows through the colours, spreading light, colour and design. This original one-off piece makes a fabulous, unique gift or statement of decoration for your window.
Inspired by the Lucite lamps of the early 1900s, set into a hand crafted mahogany wooden base.
I use cold-cast Acrylic rather than glass to make these for a few reasons. It is more optically clear than glass. It is UV-protected, so the colours will not fade. If it accidentally falls, it will not smash, but more importantly, if knocked against your window, it should not damage your window!
