I began putting these kits together to sell to my workshop participants. many wanted to continue printmaking at home and this seemed like a good opportunity to send them away with everything they needed. the instruction sheet is detailed enough that having in person tuition is not essential. its is fairly self - explanatory.

Full description
This kit contains everything you need to start lino printing at home or have a go for the first time. I sell these kits to my workshops participants if they want to continue to try printing at home, but they are self-explanatory enough to use without tuition. The instruction sheet is very thorough. It makes a great gift for creatives and those that like to try out new crafts and techniques.
It contains:
1 x lino cutter with 5 different shaped interchangeable gouges
1 x piece soft lino
1 x 2" rubber roller (or brayer) for inking
1 x plastic baren to apply pressure / burnish the back of your print
1 x small tub water-based black lino printing ink
1 x detailed instruction sheet with illustrations.
All you need to supply is some paper to print on, (even photocopying paper is fine for beginners!) a flat sheet of glass or a smooth chopping board to roll the ink out on to, and a little bit of imagination!
