We use up scraps, repurpose materials and prioritise natural new materials. We love colour and our products are attractive, environmentally friendly and useful. We don’t want to be preachy - just to make things that are a pleasure to use.

Anything that helps people reduce their use of single use plastics gets my vote. My daughter had a little snack bag for her toddler and it inspired me to research possible fabrics and designs for making my snack and sandwich bags.

Our snack bags are designed to hold a substantial snack, an apple or maybe a couple of rice cakes. I like to fill mine with a portion of crisps, taken from a sharing bag.
Snack bags are made with lovely cotton fabrics and lined with PUL. This is an eco-friendly soft and flexible material, safe to use over and over again in contact with food – more details below. It can be wiped clean or washed by hand or in the machine, giving an easy care, hygienic way of storing a snack.
Snack bags measure approximately 12cm x 14cm. This one is made from a pretty cotton fabric decorated with sunflowers and beehives and teamed with some green and white check. The lining is white. It is made a bit like a pillowcase - a simple flap folds over and keeps your snack safely in the bag. There are no poppers or Velcro to catch crumbs and it’s easy to keep them clean and hygienic - great for storing small things in the fridge and for when you are out and about.
PUL stands for Polyurethane Laminate. It is a soft, waterproof and breathable fabric, manufactured in an environmentally friendly way. It is safe for food use as it does not give off any toxic chemicals. The waterproofing comes from a thin layer of plastic bonded to polyester fabric. It has been tested for at least 300 washes. Whilst not totally plastic free, using these products could significantly reduce your use of plastic bags, films and boxes.
