I have always felt that Gondolin is too often depicted as surrounded by harsh and unlovely mountains. I rather imagine the valleys and mountains that cradle the fair white city to be lush with trees and mists and water rushing from great heights :)
This painting is available as a high quality print for you to own as part of a LIMITED EDITION, collectible run of small prints. Its dimensions make for a large and beautiful bookmark - i often use one with my Tolkien library :)
