I wanted to paint something different this week, as I tend to paint white hares a lot, nothing wrong with that but sometimes its good to ring the changes. I love cats, especially black cats and retro and this is a little bit retro

Full description
This wooden bookmark has been hand painted with a tall kooky looking retro black cat on a red background with sylised flowers and leaves.
The colours used are vibrant reds, yellows, pink and black with tiny touches of gold
I use artist quality acrylic paints and finish the bookmark with wax feel varnish to protect the artwork.
this bookmark is one of a kind and will make a lovely affordable and thoughtful gift for those who love cats, black cats, reading and more
It is finished with a red silk effect tassel and presented in a recyclable kraft sleeve
Tissue wrapped and dispatched with Royal mail 2nd class recorded delivery
I can add a handwritten gift tag and send direct to the recipient if this is being purchased as a gift
(sorry the second image is upside down, I tried editing it and it just won't allow me to turn it the right way round!)
