Did you know that the Bluebell flower are sometimes called Fairy Flowers and that they are symbolic for gratitude and everlasting love. These were pretty good reasons to inspire me to print with them
Sorting out my flower presses to make space for new summer pickings I came across a collection of Bluebells gathered our old garden which we moved from last year. My mum lived with us in an annex at our previous home for two decades. We shared a two acre site a part of which she planted many bluebells in the woodland, I always thought of them as Mums Bluebells. It was such a joy to come across them again in my flower presses and a lovely reminder of her. Flowers can do this.
