I wanted to make some pieces that look like random collections of beads found in old jewellery boxes. In reality it takes many hours to make something that looks like it has a random feel.

Full description
I love this vintage bohemian style long purple and green knotted beaded necklace. It looks as if it has been made from beady treasure found in an attic from the 1920s. The necklace features sparkly faceted purple crystal beads, antique gold freshwater pearls, Czech glass melon beads, Czech glass flowers, strawberry quartz chips and pale green shell beads. The necklace is finished with a faceted purple glass teardrop and a shimmering lilac pear drop.
I have carefully hand knotted each bead onto hemp cord to give it a lovely loose drape that can be worn as one long strand or doubled up for a layered look.

Length approximately 56" / 142cm
The largest pale green beads are 10mm in diameter.

Your necklace will arrive in black velvet gift bag as shown in the picture.
Please note that for sustainability I try to recycle outer packing (Jiffy bags etc.) If you would like new outer packaging please add a note at checkout.
