Walnut is such a beautiful wood and becomes a work of art in itself. Cut from large slabs of live edge English Walnut with a grain to die for.
It is wonderful to work with especially these kiln dried live edge slabs that come from a timber yard in Norfolk.
Made in my workshop here in Derbyshire.
They are approximately 450mm long, 95mm wide and 20mm thick, coated with OSMO UV resistant oil to protect and enhance that amazing grain. No two pieces are the same...all stunning.
The rope, 1 metre long and folded, tied and ends sealed is designed and made for exterior use with synthetic materials but looking like traditional sisal without ever rotting!
Lipped Terracotta pots of many sizes (not supplied) fit really well. The photos show 150mm wide flowerpots or whatever size that you are happy with...just get the same to balance well.
