Item details

I am drawn to the old Pagan symbols, it’s fascinating to see how so many of them were later incorporated into Christian worship. Powertex is an amazing product, eco friendly and non toxic and I use my grandsons’ outgrown school polo shirts - the texture is brilliant! And after wear from two robust boys, they’re fit for nothing else.

Full description

Green Man head and other embellishments are cast in jesmonite, very robust, and mounted on a slab of reclaimed oak, using fabric soaked in Powertex. This makes the hanging weatherproof and suitable for outdoors if you wish. (Although I would recommend bringing him under cover during really wet weather - he doesn’t like sitting in wet.)

The Green Man is the ancient symbol of rebirth, regeneration, new growth and nature. Also fertility, although that might not appeal to everyone, of course!

Each hanging is handmade and unique.
