My slate clocks are made from repurposed 30cm slate platters and my plywood clocks are made out of two 3.7mm circles, glued together to make one substantial wooden clock and one day as I was preparing two blanks - one slate and one wood - it just struck me that with the addition of a clock mechanism, these would make delightful clocks in their own right without me lasering them at all
