The Riell brooch is part of Liquidore collection.
Born from a small collection of marine souvenirs from the British coast, Liquidore illustrates the unique beauty that humankind and Mother Nature create together. Beyond the conflict and destruction, there is harmony and striking creation. Complementing each other, human craftsmanship enhancing nature's organic beauty, they take aesthetics to an entirely new level. And with each shell and rock completely one of a kind, all encased in pure silver and gold, there are no boundaries to awe.

Full description
This sculptural brooch contains a real oyster drill shell encased inside pure silver in a way that accentuates its natural beauty and organic texture. Collected from the British seaside, the gastropod shell has a unique shape, having been broken by the waves. The one of a kind jewellery piece has been designed and handcrafted by myself in London and is completely irreplicable due to its organic nature. A perfect gift for the special person in your life who you could never replace. Riell would make a superb gift for an ocean or nature lover with a taste for the fine arts.
Dimensions:
5 x 3.5 x 3 cm
Materials:
Oyster drill shell electroformed in pure silver, with sterling silver brooch back.
Quality:
This piece has been carefully handcrafted by myself in England, using a natural shell collected by me from the English seaside and then electroformed in pure silver. The electroforming process is a modern technology that encases objects inside metal by depositing it atom by atom using electrical current. I intentionally covered certain areas of the brooch with pure silver to protect the shell from damage and make it an extremely durable jewellery piece, while also leaving other areas uncovered to reveal the organic beauty underneath. I also added a sterling silver brooch back.
