The stone is always the starting point for me. In this case the banding within the stone is what drew me to accentuate this and to hang it at a jaunty angle. This is unique design for this particular stone.

Full description
Banded agate, such as in this beautiful bright green flat backed stone with no holes, can be wire wrapped in a design that focuses entirely on the striations within the stone. Agate can be found in layers, folds and cat’s eyes. Often there is a sequence of different colours depending what chemical interacts with the agate. Here the bands are very attractively followed by the wire wrapping to show a most unusual shape and is suspended by the corner of the stone.
Silver plated wire is used in order to reduce the cost in these times of financial hardship.
No heat is used in the wrapping process.
The stone measures 30 x 40 mm and hangs on a 500 mm long silver plated snake chain.
The chain length can be changed according to your wishes.
The pendant is supplied in a black card and velvet box, ready to be given as a gift for some very special lady.
