I'm currently accepting commissions for original illustration, art or design for your home or business this autumn.
If you are looking for a special and unique gift, or perhaps just a piece of art that means something to you, you can commission me to create an original illustration or illustrated map to capture memories (of a special holiday, places you've lived, or things that have happened).
You can find out more about my commissions process on my website at www.coostie.co.uk/commissions
I wanted to create an illustration which captures the spirit of Berwick-upon-Tweed in Northumberland, so I focused on creating ink drawings of 12 landmarks with a story to tell about the place and then added a splash of digital colour to give a fresh, modern feel.
I've included four of these illustrations in this art print to hopefully give you a flavour of what makes the town so unique! I include a small card with each print that lists each landmark and why it is interesting.

Full description
Inspired by the town of Berwick-upon-Tweed in Northumberland, these original illustrations of x4 of the town’s most iconic landmarks have been hand-drawn in black ink and combined with bright pops of colour, for a modern twist. Perfect as a unique gift or holiday keepsake.
Featured in the print are:
- Berwick's Victorian lighthouse;
- a re-purposed Grade II-listed former public toilet;
- the massive defensive earthworks that surround the town, erected during the Tudor and Elizabethan periods;
- the Guildhall, built by the town’s Freemen and still dominating the main high street.
Printed onto A4-sized, 350gsm brilliant white, smooth eucalyptus paper - made from eucalyptus pulp from sustainable sources - using eco-friendly inks. Comes with a card describing the historical, geographical and/or cultural impact of each of the landmarks featured in the artwork.
NB Free P&P for UK orders. Frame not included.
