Full description
Sycamore Gap holds fond memories from many and for some has been their special place. The iconic tree has been lost but the love for it continues and is depicted in my stained glass. This is my own pattern and each one I make is unique with the selection of glass and the look of the wood frame.
Perfect gift for someone who appreciates the outdoors or holds a special place in their heart for the Sycamore Gap tree.
The glass is made using the traditional Tiffany technique where it goes through a series of processes before achieving the finished polished stained glass. The glass is set in a beautiful piece of sycamore wood. The wood is NOT 'the' sycamore tree but has been locally sourced in the North East of England from a small family business saw mill who only deals with naturally felled wood.
The whole piece measures 27cm height x 32cm width
