These books are made with love. I only use the highest quality paper, boards, thread and adhesive. Materials are chosen carefully from my extensive supplies, which usually resonate with what is going on at my Highland studio at that time.
Creating them involves many different processes and they each take a few hours to make. However, I usually work on them as I happily watch and listen to material I am researching for upcoming artwork which allows me to absorb some of the costs, savings that I can pass on to you. I also hope it imbues the books with a little of the joy I experience while making them.
As I cut, fold, pierce and stitch each page, I wonder what the new owner will add to it. Perhaps you could send me a picture?
