Danu, Fairy Queen she represents fertility, wisdom, magic and motherhood.
Her wings are made from gilt on copper wire edged with 200 Precoisa seed beads that are individually hand wrapped. The inner wings are made from twisted wire and over 70 sparkling pink Precoisa Crystals. The wings took over 6 hours to craft.
Danu's hands are made from the same gilt on copper wire.
She had long white wavy hair that is made from cotton and her stunning red and white robes are made from a mixture of crepe cord and cottons that add different textures and shades of red.
She is 22cm from head to toe (28cm in all)
Her wing span is 12cm width & 9.5cm in height
Danu is not a toy and not suitable for young children and she contains lots of tiny beads and other parts.

The crystals on the fairies wings were inspired by the beautiful pink cherry blossoms of spring. Her red robes are inspired by the sun and her long white wavy hair the water that feeds the earth. She is Blodeudd, Fairy Queen & Goddess of the Spring.
