Welcome to the launch of my new shop, I feel there should be a ribbon to cut and canapés!

I started making ponchos when I needed something smart but a bit different to wear other than my plain old jacket, something I could just throw on and go. Something I could keep on (at dinner) if chilly or take off easily.
What I love about a poncho is that it's like wearing a hug and for me it covers you in all the right places too (front and back).
I'd also describe it as wearing your favourite stylish blanket and is just as lovely to pop on at home to cuddle up with or float about the house in feeling fabulous.

A beautiful one of a kind poncho handmade on my weaving loom and sewn together.
I have used an eclectic mix of fibres including my own chunky hand spun wool to create texture and charm.
It's the perfect alternative to wearing a jacket and offers a more relaxed and artsy feel.
With its unstructured shape and loose fit it is great for layering up over a t-shirt or cardigan.
It's a lovely weight making it feel luxurious and warming. It has a cute fringe around the bottom to create a bit of movement and fun.
Paired with a dress, skirt, shorts or favourite jeans, this poncho is a unique piece to add to your wardrobe.
It's one size which does seem to suit most sizes.
It measures approximately 77cm in length (not including the fringe) from the v (base) of the neck to the bottom point and is the same length at the back.
Hand washing this item is advised and it is best to soak in warm water with a mild detergent and then laid flat to dry. It can also be ironed on a low heat.
Postage and packing is included in the cost and will be sent to be "signed for".
