Hand Crafted Air Dry Clay Rune Dragon Sculpture On A Natural Large Stone
This lovely dragon is sculpted from Air Dry Clay, an amazing medium which dries rock hard and is similar to ceramic once painted and varnished.
The dragon is sculpted, sanded, painted, aged, given a final coat of metallic bronze and old gold wax and varnished
11cm x 11cm x 9cm approx
The dragon is sculpted straight onto a natural rock, and is completely secure on the rock and cannot be removed.
I have surrounded this beautiful dragon with Runes, also created with air dry clay.
Embellishing the dragon and runes are clay oak leaves. On the Dragon's wings are crescent and full moon and stars all in gold. the whole piece has been given an ancient look using paint techniques.
The dragon is varnished to protect the paintwork and stgrengthen the clay.
Please note that just like ceramic it will break if dropped
This dragon is quite heavy so will be carefully wrapped and dispatched with tracking. I can only send this with Evri not Royal Mail due to the cost.
