Each season in 2024, I'm making an extra special, limited edition heart.
The Summer Heart captures the beauty of roses in an English country garden...
In soft pink checked and striped cotton, and with a woven ribbon band of light and dark pink embroidered roses and rosebuds, each heart is generously filled with either fragrant Hampshire lavender or with hypoallergenic wool toy stuffing, and is hand finished with natural hemp twine hanging ties and a round wooden button.
Tie onto kitchen dresser hooks, coat pegs, window latches, bedposts and doorknobs. Nestle in clothes drawers and wardrobes (lavender is reputed to deter moths). Baskets and jugs, picture frame corners ... just a few places in which to add a decorative Summer Heart ...
