I was searching for a way to prolong family walks and enjoy the fresh air as a family activity that also wouldn't take all day or cost a lot. The scavenger hunts I make have all been road tested by my own children and are a great way to engage as a family in observing the environment around you, learning and making conversation about what you see. It appeals more to my children than just going for a walk as it makes it a challenge and an adventure.
