Why choose Wool?
- It comes from sheep, making it 100% natural
- As long as sheep have grass to eat, they will produce a fleece, which makes wool a renewable fibre
- Because of this, farmers work to protect the environment, to try to make sure the wool industry is sustainable and still around for the future
- Wool can decompose in a short amount of time when it has come to the end of its life as a product, unlike synthetics
- Wool is both good at keeping you warm in colder weather, but also at keeping you cool on the warmer days too, because it is breathable
- Picks up less dust than other fabrics
- In some cases, items can be machine washed
- Not known to cause any allergies
- Naturally flame retardant and has a very high ignition threshold, does not melt and stick to skin causing burns
- A high level of UV protection, much higher than synthetics

Full description
A handwoven scarf in lambswool and merino wool, making it lovely and soft with slight different textures and will continue to soften with wear.
Stripes of different shades of blue running down the length with a white weft; the structural pattern is a soft wave with points in every other stripe and there are a few lines of a more textured structure, called honeycomb.
This scarf is entirely made by hand, from the weaving, twisting the tassels, washing, trimming, attaching the label and pressing.
A handwoven scarf such as this should last for decades as long as it is taken care of which further increases its sustainability.
Width: 23 cm
Length: 204 cm
Please note that the length measurement includes the tassels at either end.
