I love the idea of filling the empty fireplace with colour for the summer months to maintain the fireplace as a focal point in the room.
The wicker basket was sourced from a local flea market and was the perfect height and shape to sit in the grate, lifting the flowers above the cast metal of the firebasket.
The fiery orange colours represent the flames and warmth of the fire with the gold and natural fluffy pampas to accentuate the colours and fill the space to contrast with the black backing of the fireplace.
