Full description
A hardworking, versatile cabinet originally intended as a shoe storage cupboard. The shelf can be adjusted in height or removed to suit your needs and the sturdy construction allows it to be used as a seat while putting your shoes on.
Handmade to order by me in my workshop with techniques including Mortise and Tenon joinery and painted with a durable satin type paint. An attractive addition to any entryway, living room or dining room my furniture arrives fully built and ready to use straight away.
All of the wood finish options are treated with a light coat of shellac prior to a traditional wax finish. The shellac seals the wood allowing the wax to enhance the grain, protect the surface and leave a subtle sheen that is smooth to the touch.
