Full description
Thus brooch has been made out of scrappy bits of fabric. The base of the brooch front is made from tweed that I've kantha-stitched 2 scraps of fabric onto before adding the 'flower' made by layering decreasing rough ovals on top of each other. I've added a number of french knots to create the flower centre. The leaves are made from chenille fabric. Further decoration has been added using a lace flower, a piece of antique tatting and blue and white lace across the bottom.
The back of the brooch is made from a woven fabric and I've added a vintage 'new' safety pin for attaching the brooch to clothes etc. There is also an Elsie May and Bertha label.
The brooch measure 6cm wide (not including the leaves) and 8.5cm tall
