Dorset Button making is an old cottage craft which died out and has since been revived and I don’t want it to disappear again.

Full description
I have made this Dorset button using a green cotton thread on a plastic ring which measures approx 3.5cm (1.25”)
I have then embroidered french knots for the posy using a pretty rainbow colour changing cotton thread.
A brooch bar with a safety catch for added security has been firmly sewn onto the back.
It is a lovely little brooch, which is definitely one of a kind and would make a perfect small gift, it is lightweight and easy to pop in the post.
