Full description
The purple flower on tia brooch is made from a mixture of fabric scraps joined together by the pistol stitches in the centre. The leaves are made from a sample of green chenille fabric and are stitched with vintage thread. The flower is mounted onto 2 pieces if recycled fabric and backed with an vintage piece of Laura Ashley fabric. I've added eco-dyed lace as decoration, along with beads salvaged from broken jewellery.
The brooch is attached via the unused vintage safety pin stitched to the back.
The brooch is 6cm wide (not including the leaves and 8cm tall.
