I wanted to reflect on being vegan and bring some of that to my work. I always choose fabrics carefully to ensure quality and as much as possible that they are cruelty free (no dyes made from insects). I buy a lot of my fabrics, particularly the tote and cushion panels from Custom Fabrics, based in Scotland. They print to order using eco-friendly inks and a variety of fabrics. This means they don't end up with fabric they can't sell, which I think is fantastic.
