Le Chat Noir is such a classic fantastic print, overlapping that with The Cures iconography for black cats and the lyrics to their song, this is one of my favourite prints.

Full description
Original handmade print inspired by The Cures recent Glastonbury headline set for the 3rd time! I was trying to think of a good idea around The Cures songs and then the idea came to me of re visiting the famous piece by Rodolphe Salis, a piece i have always been in love with.
Each print is an original hand pressed print on 250gsm high quality printing paper, made on a homemade hydraulic press that is shown in the last picture, they are named and signed for identification and individuality.
Using the poster but tweaking it slightly to suit a smaller lino print and adding the lyrics of The Cures famous song Love Cats. the background is a ink wash and then a 2 colour lino print on top.
The Actual print is A5 but with a border and a frame comes out at 23x 29 cm, which is a decent size to have hung on the wall, or for a smaller option that looks great on shelves or in smaller or busier wall spaces, the frame only is 18.5x 24 cm.
