Are you looking for a unique piece of handmade jewellery? This sterling silver shaped wire brooch pin would make a lovely gift for someone who loves unusual jewellery.
I have created this brooch by shaping recycled sterling silver wire into a unique design. Shapes have been cut and filed from sterling silver and filled gold and attached to the front of the brooch. To finish the brooch, a silver pin was soldered to the back. (The gold filled sheet has been created by mechanically bonding a layer of 14ct gold to a layer of base metal). The pin is part of a small collection of shaped wire jewellery.
I love mid-century design and from this was inspired to create a small range of jewellery featuring shaped wire.
The brooch will arrive inside a black jewellery box, complete with simple care instructions and a small anti-tarnish tab.
