"I would kill you with kindness but all I have is this axe"
This is a unique design of my own creation, hand burnt onto a slice of paulownia wood, enhanced with acrylic paint and inks, and finished with a light coat of gloss sealant. The design features a gold ribbon, decorated with yellow/orange, magenta and purple flowers, surrounding a cute little axe.
This particular piece is approx. 21cm/8.25in x 25cm/9.75in (see photos), and includes a sawtooth hanger on the back.
PLEASE NOTE: The finish of each piece is dependent on how the wood reacts to the burning and painting process. Acrylic inks soak into the wood, leaving a 'stained' effect whilst preserving the unique pattern of the wood slice. All of my pieces are designed for indoor use only and therefore have not been treated for outdoor survival.
