Happy new year! We hope that 2025 is a good one for all of our customers. Our shop is currently quite depleted but the new sewing machine will soon be in action and new stock will be added as it is made. Send a message if you're looking for something in particular.
Sadly, given the new regulations, we are no longer able to sell to customers in Northern Ireland.
In this shop you will find a variety of household items and gifts, mostly with an Eco-focus - things that can be used and reused without costing the planet or emptying your wallet. We use up scraps, repurpose materials and prioritise natural new materials. We love colour and our products are attractive, environmentally friendly and useful. We don’t want to be preachy - just to make things that are a pleasure to use.
If you spot something you’d like in a different colour combination or other feature, drop us a message and ask - many things are possible.
If you want to know more about the people and environment behind this small business, follow us on social media.

If you’re looking to change your washing up regime, these lovely dishcloths are certainly worth a try. The hand knitted squares are made from strong cotton yarn in coordinating colours. One is cream with flecks of colours, one is plain cream and you have a choice of purple or pink for the third.
I have been using these cloths in my kitchen and find they do a great job on those daily tasks - mopping up minor spills, washing up and wiping down worktops. Measuring 20cm (8”) square, they are big enough whilst not being unwieldy. Cloths should be rinsed out after use and allowed to air. Each cloth has a hanging loop in one corner or you can do what I do and fold it over the tap. They dry out quickly and I haven’t had any trouble with cloths becoming smelly. They can be popped in the washing machine with your regular laundry every now and then.
Cotton dishcloths are a great alternative to disposable cloths or those made from polyester, which tend to dump micro plastics into the water. At the end of their kitchen life these cloths can move outside to wipe down condensation from your car windscreen or wipe over a garden chair. Eventually they can be cut up and added to your compost heap with no detrimental effect on the environment.
If you’re looking for more eco-friendly cleaning products, have look at our jute scourer squares and sponges. We also sell mixed packs.
We use standard second class post unless you choose otherwise. We often use recycled packaging.
