Decorative Wood House/Quirky Wood House.
Each piece of wood I turn into a 'house' is unique; each one is different according to the wood, it's shape, it's dents.
Some of the pieces of wood I use actually look a little bit battered to begin with.
I work with the characteristics of each piece, so in the photographs you will see the wood is not perfectly straight. You will see rounded corners and dents in the wood.
I have tried to portray the house as accurately as possible in the photographs and the last 2 pictures show how the house looks in a collection.
I have worked on this piece of wood in inks, all hand drawn, freestyle.
The wood is sealed and varnished.
This particular piece was a pleasure to work with.
I hope whoever owns it next will have as much pleasure from the piece.
