Hare suncatcher made in beautiful stained glass by Carole’s Glass.
Hares became very popular a few years back and still seem to be. Here is my version of a moon/star gazing hare.
These have been made from lovely amber glass and white streaky sea glass and one has been made using a dark amber - dark brown.
Each piece of glass has been hand cut, ground, washed, foiled and soldered together. before being washed again. The eye detail has been added with glass paint and the nose black patina. A ring has been attached for hanging purposes.
These suncatcher measure 8cms x 15.5 cms.
They would make a lovely present for an animal lover and great for anyone lucky enough to see a hare in real life, something I think I might have seen only once.
I have 2 hares available both in light amber which arel very similar so I’ll send one of the three.
I will supply one window hook so you can hang as soon as received. Please remember to wet the plunger before pushing firmly onto the window.
I normally post the following working day and this will be sent using Royal Mail Tracked 24.
