A very warm welcome to my collection of original artwork.
If you are buying artwork as a gift, I can gift wrap the painting and send it on to the recipient. Just send me the details at checkout. Prior to posting, framed paintings will be covered with glassine paper before being carefully encased in a protective wrap. Wherever possible, I reuse internal wrapping materials I have collected. The painting will then be secured in a heavy duty mailing box. For unframed artworks, the paintings will be mailed in a reinforced, hard backed envelope.
(78) This original artwork is called, 'Don't Bring Me Down'. Trees are often described as the lungs of the planet and they have to be pretty resilient against disease, felling and the weather. This would make an ideal gift for any occasion.

Full description
This is a framed acrylic painting featuring a large tree in a rugged landscape. I have used the impasto technique, applying thick layers of acrylic paint with a range of knives and brushes. Across the canvas, you can see the brush and knife marks which gives a sense of ruggedness.

- The painting is set in a contemporary grey wooden frame.
