Inspiration for these chicken came from my Nana, who would call us 'chick', this has now become my granddaughters nickname also (she also gets 'chicky') so I made her a nightlight chicken for her bedroom.

Handmade using pinch pot method, this little ceramic chicken is full of character and a fun addition to any room. Designed to be used with a faux tea light (supplied) this pottery chick is safe to use around children or animals and gives a cosy glow when lit up.
As this is handmade each chick has a different expression, making each one unique to you.
made from earthenware ware clay, twice fired in the kiln, and glazed with a clear glaze on the body. eyes and beak painted with underglaze and left matt, for contrast. Finished with a gorgeous red glaze which can 'break' depending on application, adding to its uniqueness.
Perfect for cosy evenings or those dull days when you need a bit of light.
Measures 10.5 cm x 7.5 cm.
