All the items are hand sewn by me. I am increasingly thinking about sustainability with my work and am including more repurposed projects, and trying to use organic and natural fibres and fabrics.

This Indian block print crossbody bag is made with natural and sustainable materials.
The block print fabric is made by hand in the Jaipur region of India using traditional methods. It makes a lovely little crossbody bag. The bag is fully lined with a coordinating block print fabric and I have added a cotton interfacing to stabilise the fabric and reduce creasing.
The strap is a 4mm cotton twisted rope with African brass cone beads at the ends. The closure is a simple loop and a coconut shell button.
Both the fabrics and the brass cones are responsibility sourced and Fairtrade
