A very warm welcome to my collection of original artwork.
If you are buying artwork as a gift, I can gift wrap the painting and send it on to the recipient. Just send me the details at checkout. Prior to posting, framed paintings will be covered with glassine paper before being carefully encased in a protective wrap. Wherever possible, I reuse internal wrapping materials I have collected. The painting will then be secured in a heavy duty mailing box. For unframed artworks, the paintings will be mailed in a reinforced, hard backed envelope.
(62) This Scottish landscape painting is called, 'I Slept In The Long Tall Grass'. It is wonderful when the sun is so warm, it makes you sleepy and you can just spend some precious time daydreaming. This would make an ideal gift for any occasion.

Full description
This is an original Scottish landscape painting. It is a lovely sunny day and the hills in the background are bathed in hazy light with the wildflowers in the foreground taking centre stage, reaching high towards the blue sky. This has been painted in acrylics with a range of brushes and sponges to give a hazy light impact.
Feel a sense of joy and peace with this painting depicting wide open spaces. It looks lovely in a simple frame and will add colour and vibrancy to any home.
