A very warm welcome to my collection of original artwork.
If you are buying artwork as a gift, I can gift wrap the painting and send it on to the recipient. Just send me the details at checkout. Prior to posting, framed paintings will be covered with glassine paper before being carefully encased in a protective wrap. Wherever possible, I reuse internal wrapping materials I have collected. The painting will then be secured in a heavy duty mailing box. For unframed artworks, the paintings will be mailed in a reinforced, hard backed envelope.
(33) This artwork is inspired by my trips to Easdale Island. A day at the coast, regardless of the weather, can be invigorating, especially on an island. I've called this work, 'Come Rain Or Shine, I'll Be There'. This original, acrylic painting would make an ideal gift for any occasion.

Full description
In this coastal landscape, the sky is blue with a hint of pink which is reflected in the sea. I've used flat brushes to paint the sky and the hills to depict a peaceful backdrop for the choppy waters swirling round the cliffs. The sea and the land has been painted using a combination of knives and then I've scratched into the acrylic paint with old nails. The coastal wildflowers stand proud and strong against the sea breeze.
This original painting would be lovely set in a frame of your choosing, Bring a bit of the Scottish coast in to your home.
