Wood anemones can be found in mature deciduous woodlands across the UK, as well as by hedgerows and meadows. They turn their heads up to the sun which filters through the woodland canopy. They form a carpet of white and mid-green in early spring, just beautiful.

Full description
Botanical prints -This is what the sun sees in Cyanotype printmaking, it captures the beauty of nature in all its glory. By placing the pressed flowers onto a light-sensitive coated paper, then exposing it to sunshine, an image is created. These wood anemones loved sunbathing in their photo shoot. These pretty flowers on delicate stems tower up from lush foliage and herald the start of spring.

Created on 300gsm Hahnemuhle Platinum Rag watercolour paper, hinge-mounted to a backboard and 'Soft White' mount both acid free and in a fully recyclable protective bag.
Named ‘Paulette’ numbered and signed on the reverse, it comes with a Certificate of Authenticity as an Original Artwork 1/1
Mounted Size 6” x 8” ready for you to place into a standard 6” x 8” frame of your choice.
The Aperture size is 4” x 6”
The photogram will be posted out in a board-backed envelope which is reusable and recyclable. I purchase packaging made from recycled products whenever I can.
