The Alice hair tie was inspired through family photos and letters from the 1800s. One young girl repeatedly appears throughout the many photographs, yet I am unable to place her within our family tree. Alice ranges in age from a young baby right through to her teens, often sporting a large fabric bow. My design is to pay homage to this young lady and hope in finding how we are related and possibly seeking her direct relatives to pass some photographs on.
