Featuring six different print reproductions of original seaweed pressings, collected responsibly from Trearddur Bay, Anglesey. These A6 cards are annotated on the reverse with the species of seaweed and the location it was found, with plenty of space left for your choice of message.
I forage for seaweeds on beaches around the UK. Trearddur Bay on Anglesey, North Wales, is one of my favourites, and it has a wide variety of seaweed. I never pick seaweeds that are growing, only collect fragments washed up on the shore.
They are pressed using a method similar to flower pressing, and then photographed to create these images.
The cardstock I use is fully recycled. The inks used for printing are biomassed based.
