I'm quite new to woodturning and thoroughly enjoy it for the relaxation as well as the ability to turn odd bits of wood into pieces like the ones I have here.

Full description

This is a Streamline Twist Pen with an Olivewood body finished in a hard-wearing polished coating; a stylish and easy to use pen due to its light weight and grip size.

Yes, olivewood is the same tree as those little fruits come from. Originally from the Mediterranean regions of Europe but can be found all over the world now. The wood is rarely used as lumber but it is stunning when we wood butchers get our hands on it, and this pen is no exception.

The overall length is 13.1 cm and body thickness is 1.5 cm at the widest part with a weight of 30 grams.

This pen comes in a velvet sleeve. A black Cross style refill is included, but could be changed to blue or red if you so desire, and takes easily replaceable standard Cross style refills. To replace the ink, grasp the upper and lower pen sections and pull apart, you will see the plastic top of the refill. With a light pressure unscrew the old refill then screw in the replacement. When placing the upper and lower pen halves together ensure any grain of the wood or acrylic patterns line up before pushing the halves together.

All my pens are handmade and hand finished to ensure they are all unique.

Postage to the UK is included in the list price. D31
