Unusual and unique, this matt brushed silver chain necklace is entirely handmade.
The links of this necklace have been hammered flat then polished to a high shine before being gently sanded to give them a slinky satin shimmer. The silver is really tactile and feels smooth, lightweight and comfortable to wear on any occasion. This sterling silver necklace is made from round links in two sizes, 23mm and 12mm diameter approximately. The total length of the necklace pictured including the handmade clasp is approximately 50cm. It can be made to order in any length.
Please note that the finish of this design takes a lot longer to achieve than the sparkly hammered texture of most of my other pieces so this is reflected in the price.
This item carries a UK hallmark and my makers mark so you can be confident it is made from sterling silver.
Your jewellery will be tissue wrapped and packaged into a SilverRipples branded gift box.
Silver jewellery naturally tarnishes and this process is accelerated by humidity and various chemicals. To keep it looking it s best store in a ziplock bag away from sunlight and clean gently with a soft silver cloth which are widely available in supermarket cleaning sections. If your jewellery contains beads on silk thread please avoid getting the thread wet.
