We look across to Dunnet Head every day, and almost every day the scene changes depending on weather conditions, sunlight and tide. It is amazing to wake up each morning to look out n this ever changing seascape.

Full description
This painting depicts a stormy day at Sea. with the most Northerly point on mainland Britain in the distance, Dunnet Head. The most noticable weather condition in Caithness is the wind which seems to prevail from the North. The winds are so frequent here, when they stop everyone falls down!
In the foreground you can also spot the Caithness flagstones sunk upright int the ground that have frequently been used over the ages as walls
