I hope you enjoy looking through my collection of sparkly and colourful earrings. They are tiny wearable pieces of art, and, like a painting or a sculpture, they all have their own name.
I only make ONE of each design, so you will never see anyone else wearing the same earrings, and once it has gone from the shop, it's gone.

I love to be able to collect fabrics that would otherwise be discarded, so finding these dressmaking offcuts of Liberty Tana Lawn was wonderful. I called them Rusty Lanterns because just before I entered them onto Folksy, I had seen a rusty lantern on YouTube. They just reminded me of it when I took the earrings out of the box.

Full description
These earrings are made with scraps of Liberty Tana Lawn bought in a vintage market in York. They were clearly offcuts from dressmaking. The puffs I made from them have Swarovski Padparadscha crystals at their centre. This is a rich sparkly rust colour, although it looks rather yellow in some of the photos. Top and bottom are crystal beads in varying rusty hues, with a topaz coloured glass tube and hexagonal seed bead at the tip. I have matched the backs with the same fabric. The wires are a gun metal plating.
These earrings are named The Rusty Lanterns
They come to you on an individually made display card inside a cardboard jewellery box lined with cotton.
