These little birds can only be seen for a limited time during the breeding period. Dunnet Head is one place where they are prolific during this time. It was a great achievment to catch them at the right time.

Puffins can often be seen at or around Dunnet Head, the true most Northerly point of mainland Britain.
There is no need to frame this oiece as the edges have been painted to match the artwork.
Dunnet Head is also just off the much travelled " North Coast 500" A stretch of oadway covering the whole of the far North Coast, often described as Scotlands " Route 66"
The best time to see these colouful little birds is March and April. They spend the whole of the winter months at sea.
