My Dad grew carnations from seed when I was growing up, so they hold special memories for me. I wanted to recreate a crochet version of a red carnation which was his favourite flower.

Full description
This handmade crochet carnation makes a beautiful stand alone flower or makes a great addition to a build your own bouquet. Currently available in red, cream and lemon but can be made in any colour on request. Price discounted for a bunch of 3 flowers. Beautiful addition to a Christmas display.
Include a handwritten gift message using the drop down menu. Flower will be wrapped in tissue and brown paper.
The main flower is knitted in acrylic yarn. The calyx is padded using wool fibres to give it shape. The stem is constructed with garden wire covered in acrylic yarn, which is also used to make the leaves.

Post and packaging is included in the price and I use Royal Mail Tracked 48
When possible I use recycled packaging.
