Though I usually work in silver it is essential to offer a golden finish from time to time and for some reason it seemed appropriate here, The size of the bead dictated a large setting and swirls are always attractive! This was an early design from when I was learning wire wrapping.

Full description
A spherical carnelian gemstone is held on golden coloured, interlocking, spiral wires. Carnelian is coloured by the presence of iron oxide. The blood red colour used to be thought to have a calming effect on the blood. Now more known for it;s autumnal shading. it can grace any ensemble in autumnal shades. Inexpensive wire is used to great effect. The sphere measures 20 mm in diameter and hangs on a gold coloured chain 500 mm long.
It will arrive black gift boxed in card and velvet and postage is free.
