The sun was setting as we returned home on the Raasay to Skye ferry. I played with the colours on this one.

Full description
A small landscape study aiming to represent a sunset seen from a Scottish ferry last December.
The cold winter sea is a piece of indigo and yellow streaky glass. It really does look cold...
The rest of the panel depicts the sky and mountains. The yellow triangle shows the flash of sun as it set. A textured pale maroon completes the sky. Finally 2 blue-purples have been added to represent the distant mountains.
Once cut, the panel is then leaded, soldered and cemented. Hooks have been added for hanging this piece in your window.
This wee panel is small but has a lovely weight and solid feel.
